Metal-Master is carrying out the project entitled “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Flaris MALE” under Operational Program Smart Growth, Measure 1.2. “Sectoral R&D Programs”.

The project aims to develop an optionally piloted platform FLARIS MALE, equipped with an automatic take-off and landing system. The result of the project will be accomplished through the implementation of research, consisting of 8 stages. The project includes the integration of on-board systems, ground tests, and flight tests.

The UAV FLARIS MALE platform is based on the construction of the super-light FLARIS LAR 1 business jet, which is equipped with a new-generation turbofan engine. The aircraft was designed and manufactured using state-of-the-art composite materials. The result of the project will be an improved, easy-to-fly aircraft, which can be operated by less experienced pilots owing to proprietary onboard computer systems that assist the flight.

W ramach Działania 1.1 Programu Operacyjnego Inteligentny Rozwój 2014-2020 współfinansowanego ze środków Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego firma Metal-Master realizuje projekt pt: „Kompleksowy system ratowniczy dla samolotu „FLARIS LAR1”.

Celem projektu jest rozwój kompleksowego redundantnego systemu ratowniczego opartego o spadochron i poduszki bezpieczeństwa dla samolotu FLARIS LAR1, zapewniającego bezpieczne przyziemienie w sytuacji awarii silnika powstałej podczas regularnego przelotu eksploatacyjnego.

Aby osiągnąć ten cel zaplanowanych zostało pięć etapów prac badawczych, z czego cztery stanową badania przemysłowe, a jedno prace rozwojowe.
Prace zostaną rozpoczęte opracowaniem projektu wstępnego podsystemów i ich integracji dla całego samolotu, a następnie realizowane będą badania w zakresie spadochronu ratunkowego całego samolotu (Etap II), adaptacyjnych poduszek powietrznych (Etap III) oraz systemów pomocniczych (Etap IV). Etap V skoncentrowany będzie na wykonaniu prototypu i testach systemu nazwanego FLARIS RESCUE®.
